Understanding Listing Statuses: Draft, Live, Deactivated & Connected

1 min readUpdated 14 Oct 2026Reviewed by Homeyhuts Editorial Team

Understand common listing and connection statuses in Homeyhuts and what each status means for managing your property.

A property's status helps you understand whether it is still being prepared, available for booking, temporarily inactive or connected to external channels.

Draft:

A draft generally means the listing is still being prepared and has not completed the required publishing process. Review missing information before attempting to make it live.

Live:

A live listing is published and available according to its configured availability and booking settings.

Deactivated:

A deactivated property is not actively available for booking through the relevant Homeyhuts listing flow. Deactivation may be intentional or may occur because an account, billing or setup requirement needs attention.

Connected:

A connected status generally indicates that the relevant property/channel has an active integration or connection with an OTA/Channel Manager.

Important:

“Live” and “Connected” are not necessarily the same thing. A property can be live on one platform while having a separate connection status with an OTA.

When troubleshooting:

1. Check the Homeyhuts listing status.

2. Check the Channel Manager connection.

3. Check OTA status where relevant.

4. Check availability and mapping.

5. Review any warnings or setup requirements.

Tip: When a property is not receiving bookings, do not look only at whether it is “Live.” Also check availability, pricing, mapping and connected channel status.
