We didn’t start with a fancy plan. We started by listening.

Long chats with homestay owners in mountain villages, coastal towns, and big cities all revealed the same problem: beautiful homes, warm hosts, and incredible stories were being held back by online chaos and platforms built primarily for hotels, not for them.

After 17 years in technology and more than a decade leading tech product teams and running vacation rentals in the US, I returned to India in 2024 and set out on countless road trips across the country, meeting hosts from Uttarakhand’s hills to Kerala’s backwaters.

I saw firsthand how Indian hosts were managing their businesses across multiple apps, paying high commissions, dealing with confusing tools, and constantly worrying about double bookings, cancellations and empty calendars. Whether it was families running homestays, solo women hosts, retirees, property managers or couples with weekend homes, they all wanted to share their spaces and grow their businesses, but they needed better technology and real support, not more complexity.

Homeyhuts was born from these journeys and stories.

It’s not just another management platform. It’s a comprehensive technology and support platform built specifically for vacation rentals and alternative accommodation businesses.

We started by solving one problem at a time. Today, Homeyhuts brings Property Management, Channel Management, Revenue Management, Dynamic Pricing, Payments, Direct Bookings, Guest Communication, Services and Operations together in one platform.

Instead of managing different tools for different parts of the business, hosts and property managers can manage their properties, calendars, pricing, bookings and guest operations from one place while staying connected to the channels where their guests are.

And we believe technology should adapt to the host, not the other way around.

We keep it simple and human: technology built for vacation rentals, support that understands the realities of local hosts, and solutions designed around how these businesses actually operate, not how traditional hotel software expects them to.

Our platform puts individual hosts, property managers and local communities front and center. Every feature is shaped by real conversations, real properties, and real challenges from the ground.
