What Happens When You Receive a Booking on an OTA?
When a guest books your property through a connected booking platform, Homeyhuts helps bring that booking into your central workflow.
Step 1: The guest books your property
The guest completes a booking on a connected platform such as Airbnb, Booking.com, MakeMyTrip or another supported platform.
Step 2: Homeyhuts receives the booking
The reservation information is sent through the connection.
The booking can then appear in your Homeyhuts calendar and reservation view.
Step 3: The dates become unavailable
The booked dates are updated in your Homeyhuts calendar.
The availability can then be shared with your other connected platforms where supported.
Step 4: You manage the booking
You can use Homeyhuts to keep track of:
- Guest
- Property
- Check-in date
- Check-out date
- Booking status
- Booking source
Step 5: Prepare for the guest
Once the booking is confirmed, prepare your property and coordinate the guest's arrival.
What if the booking comes from somewhere else?
If the guest books through:
- Phone
- Direct enquiry
- Walk-in
- Another offline source
Add the booking as an Offline Booking in Homeyhuts.
This ensures the dates are reflected in your central calendar.
In simple terms
Booking received → Homeyhuts calendar updated → connected availability updated → you prepare for the guest.
