How to Update Your Listing
Learn how to keep your Homeyhuts property information accurate when amenities, pricing, policies or property details change.
Your listing should always represent the property guests will actually receive.
Before updating:
1. Identify what has changed.
2. Decide whether the change affects photos, description, amenities, pricing, policies or availability.
3. Update the relevant information in Homeyhuts.
4. Save the changes.
5. Review the published listing.
6. Check connected OTAs where applicable.
- Examples of changes that should trigger a listing review:
- New amenity.
- Removed amenity.
- Renovation.
- Room configuration change.
- New photographs.
- Changed check-in process.
- Updated house rules.
- Changed capacity.
Important:
Not every OTA-specific setting is controlled by Homeyhuts. If a change is platform-specific, review the relevant OTA as well.
Tip: Schedule a periodic listing audit even when nothing obvious has changed. Photos and descriptions can become outdated gradually.
