How to Manage Minimum Night Stay Rules

1 min readUpdated 14 Oct 2026Reviewed by Homeyhuts Editorial Team

Learn how to set and manage minimum night stay rules from Homeyhuts and apply them to the dates where you need more control over bookings. Minimum Night Stay allows you to specify the minimum number of nights a guest must book. Homeyhuts lets you apply this restriction to selected dates through Channel Settings and bulk updates.

How to Manage Minimum Night Stay

1. Open your **Homeyhuts Host Control Centre**.

2. Go to **Calendar**.

3. Select the property you want to manage.

4. Open **Channel Settings**.

5. Go to the settings applicable to **All OTAs**.

6. Select the required date range using the bulk update option.

7. Select the applicable days.

8. Enable **Minimum Night Stay**.

9. Enter the minimum number of nights required.

10. Click **Update**.

The restriction will be applied to the selected dates across the connected booking channels supported by the setting.

Example

If you select Friday and Saturday and set a 2-night minimum, guests will need to make a qualifying stay rather than booking only one of those nights.

Before You Apply the Rule

Check whether the selected dates already have bookings, whether the rule is suitable for your demand, and whether applying it across all connected OTAs is appropriate.

Tip

Use minimum-stay rules strategically. A 2-night minimum can work well for busy weekends, while a 1-night minimum may be better for dates where your priority is filling empty inventory.
