Which Properties Can Be Added to a Magic Cluster?
Learn which types of listings can be connected through Magic Cluster and what you should verify before adding them. Magic Cluster is designed for multiple listings that represent different ways of selling the same physical property or inventory.
Suitable Examples
A suitable Magic Cluster could include:
- One entire villa listing.
- Individual bedroom listings.
- A two-room combination listing.
- Other room combinations that use the same physical rooms.
For example, a five-bedroom villa could have:
- Entire Villa.
- Room 1.
- Room 2.
- Rooms 3 + 4.
- Room 5.
These listings share the same underlying property, so they can be connected.
What Should Not Be Added?
Do not add unrelated properties simply because they are owned by the same host.
For example, two separate villas in different locations should not be placed in the same Magic Cluster. Their inventory is independent and one booking should not automatically block the other.
Check Your OTA Structure
Before creating a cluster, make sure the room or unit listings are correctly created on your connected OTAs. The listing structure should represent the same physical inventory across the relevant channels.
Why This Matters
Magic Cluster relies on the relationship between your listings. If the mapping does not represent the real physical inventory, availability may not behave as expected.
Tip
Before creating a cluster, make a simple inventory map: identify the entire property, each individual room/unit, and any room combinations. This makes it much easier to create the correct Parent and Child structure.
