How to Use Entire Place Mode During Long Weekends
Learn how to use Entire Place Mode to prioritise full-property bookings during long weekends when group demand is often stronger. Long weekends can create an opportunity to sell a villa, homestay or multi-room property as one complete unit.
How It Works
When Entire Place Mode is activated for the selected dates:
- The Entire Property listing remains open.
- Child room listings are automatically paused.
- Guests can book the full property.
- After the selected period, the room listings automatically become available again.
How to Set It Up
- Open the Homeyhuts Host Control Centre.
- Go to Manage Property.
- Select Magic Cluster.
- Choose the relevant cluster.
- Select Entire Place Mode.
- Select the long-weekend dates.
- Review the Parent and Child Listings affected.
- Activate the schedule.
You can also select specific days of the week when setting up the schedule if required.
Example
If a long weekend runs from Saturday to Monday, you can schedule Entire Place Mode for those dates so the property is sold as a whole instead of allowing separate room bookings.
Tip
Set the schedule before demand peaks. This gives you more time to capture high-value group bookings.
