What is Co-Host Access?

Managing a property often involves more than one person. You may work with a property manager, caretaker, operations team, or another trusted person to handle different parts of your property.

With Co-Hosts on Homeyhuts, you can invite others to help manage your property while keeping control over their access.

You can add up to 10 co-hosts per listing and decide what each person can access based on their responsibilities.

Why Use Co-Hosts?

Instead of sharing your Homeyhuts login credentials with your team, you can give each person their own access.

For example, you may want:

  • A property manager to have full access to manage the listing.
  • A caretaker to view reservations and guest information.
  • An operations team member to manage the calendar and pricing.
  • An accounts team member to access expenses.

You can customise permissions according to what each person needs to manage.

How Co-Host Access Works

Co-hosts are added at the individual listing level.

This means you can decide who has access to each property separately, giving you greater control if you manage multiple listings.

Each co-host gets access through their own Homeyhuts account, so you don't need to share your personal login credentials.

How to Add a Co-Host

Step 1: Open Properties

Go to the Properties section from your Homeyhuts Host Control Centre.

Select the listing for which you want to add a co-host.

Step 2: Open Co-Hosts

Within the selected property, go to the Co-Hosts tab.

Click Add Co-Host.

Step 3: Enter the Co-Host's Email

Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.

The invitation will be sent to this email address.

Step 4: Select Access Permissions

You can decide what the co-host can access across different sections of your property.

The available sections include:

  • Dashboard
  • Calendar & Pricing
  • Reservations
  • Properties
  • Expenses
  • Guest Messages

For each section, you can choose:

No Access

The section will not be visible to the co-host.

View Only

The co-host can view the information but cannot make changes.

Full Access

The co-host can access and manage that section based on the permissions provided.

Set Access for All Sections at Once

For easier setup, you don't have to select permissions individually every time.

You can choose:

  • View Only for all sections
  • Full Access for all sections
  • Clear the selected permissions

You can then modify individual sections if you want to give different levels of access.

This makes it easier to set up permissions while still giving you the flexibility to customise them.

How Does the Co-Host Accept the Invitation?

Once you send the invitation, the co-host will receive an email with an invitation link.

If they don't have a Homeyhuts account

They can:

  1. Click the invitation link.
  2. Sign up for a Homeyhuts account.
  3. Verify their account.
  4. Accept the co-host invitation.

If they already have a Homeyhuts account

They can:

  1. Click the invitation link.
  2. Log in to their existing Homeyhuts account.
  3. Accept the invitation.

Once the invitation is accepted, the co-host will be able to see the sections of the Host Control Centre for which you have granted them access.

Manage Co-Host Access Anytime

Your property access requirements may change over time.

That's why you can manage your co-hosts whenever required.

You can:

  • Add new co-hosts
  • Edit existing permissions
  • Increase or reduce access
  • Remove a co-host

This means you remain in control of who can access your property and what they can do.

Track Co-Host Activity

You can also stay informed about activity on your property through the Activity tab.

The Activity section allows you to check the logs and review changes or actions made on the property, including activity performed by co-hosts.

This gives you greater visibility when multiple people are helping manage the same property.

Manage Your Property Without Sharing Your Login

Co-Host Access is designed to make property management easier when multiple people are involved.

Instead of sharing your account credentials, you can provide each person with their own access and decide exactly what they can view or manage.

Whether you need help with reservations, calendar and pricing, expenses, property management, guest messages, or other day-to-day operations, you can customise access according to your requirements.

Share the workload. Keep control.

Add and manage your co-hosts directly from the Properties section of your Homeyhuts Host Control Centre.
