Indoor Spaces – Private Mud House

• Sleeping arrangements: King-size bed for two guests, with an additional mattress for one extra guest at a charge, subject to availability.
• Room amenities: Fan, two sliding windows, wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps, dressing mirror, desk, seating, electric kettle, extra blankets, and pillows.
• Private bathroom: Shower, geyser, washbasin, mirror, jet spray, and complimentary toiletries.
• Towels: Two bath towels provided; additional towels may be chargeable.
• Heating: Room heater available at an extra cost, subject to confirmation.
• Not available: Air conditioning and television.

Shared Spaces and Entertainment

There is no separate indoor living room or guest kitchen. Guests can enjoy the shared library, card and board games, musical instruments, Bluetooth speakers, and outdoor seating areas.

Outdoor Spaces and Activities

The property features a garden with natural grass, gazebo, patio seating, swings, hammocks, outdoor lighting, and a children's play area. Outdoor games include cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, bow and arrow, and darts.

Guest Access and Interaction

Guests can access their booked accommodation and shared outdoor areas, including the garden, gazebo, patio, swings, hammocks, library, and recreational facilities, subject to availability.

Parking is available for approximately 8–10 cars, and room keys can be collected from reception. I am Arpit Saxena, your host, and I reside on the property. A caretaker is available for general assistance. Please contact us in advance for activities, transportation, group bookings, and special occasions.

Things to Keep in Mind

• Check-in: From 1:00 PM.
• Check-out: Between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
• Wi-Fi: Available; confirm speed if needed for remote work.
• Power and water: Generator backup and water supply are available.
• Safety: A first-aid kit and CCTV in designated areas are available. Smart locks and alarm systems are not available.
• Mobile network: Jio is reported to work best, although coverage may vary.
• Road access: The final approximately 800 metres involve mildly off-road travel.
• Accessibility: The property is not wheelchair-friendly.
• Nature: Insects and small creatures may occasionally be present.
• Pets: Three dogs reside on the property. Confirm arrangements before bringing pets.
• Extra guests: Additional guests and mattresses may incur charges. Walk-in stays require prior confirmation.
• Activities: Confirm prices, availability, and booking requirements before arrival.

House Rules

• Smoking is prohibited inside rooms; designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
• Leave footwear outside the rooms.
• Alcohol consumption is permitted.
• Respect other guests, shared spaces, nature, and the resident dogs.
• Bonfires, barbecues, events, and special dining arrangements require advance confirmation and may incur additional charges.
• Supervise children outdoors and follow the host's guidance during activities.

The property is in Bir, Himachal Pradesh, approximately 15 minutes from Bir Market. Chaugan Chowk has general stores and a liquor store.
